  EU Official Wants to Break Up the Big Four

  The European debt crisis has all sorts of far-reaching consequences. The latest to feel the heat are the Big Four auditors – PwC, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and Deloitte. These four accounting firms are responsible for reviewing a mind-boggling 85 percent of “blue-chip companies in most EU states,” Reuters reports. And that’s a little too close for comfort.
