Description: Accounts Senior / Assistant Manager - Rural Services
Salary: £20,000 - £32,000 + Bonus Scheme
Location: Shepton Mallet
This is a brilliant opportunity for an individual with a background in Accountancy Practice to join a leading provider in the Accountancy arena.
Our client is seeking an individual with a good understanding and keen interest in Rural Services and Farming.
Your duties will include the following:
Managing client portfolios
Supervising junior staff
Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Personal and corporation tax computations and returns
Dealing with client queries
Working as part of a team to deliver a high quality service
Qualifications and skills:
ACA/ACCA qualified ideally from a progressive accountancy practice
Relevant experience and knowledge of the Rural sector
Up to date accounting knowledge - including accounting standards
Current knowledge of CGT and IHT planning for the agricultural sector
Experience in accounts preparation, and tax with a Rural Services bias

Duties and Responsibilities:
Inbound telephony/email reception of Help Desk calls
Information gathering, qualification and prioritisation of new calls
Logging of all calls within our Help Desk application
Manage and pro-actively ensure that timely and appropriate updates are communicated back to customers
Ownership of all Help Desk calls for the product specialisation, throughout the calls lifecycle.
Interacting with other Service Management disciplines where necessary to investigate and resolve Help Desk calls
Helping to maintain FAQ's for the support of our product suite
Performing QA on products/fixes where required
Skills:
General IT and troubleshooting skills
Excellent Customer Service Skills, Excellent Organisation Skills
Experience in a Help Desk Environment
Knowledge of maintaining and running queries on MS SQL 2000/2005
Knowledge of Finance applications
Knowledge of maintaining IIS 6/7
