Description: Courtwork Administrator
Location: Bristol
Salary: £15,500 - £18,000
This is a brilliant chance to work as part of the Recovery and Reorganisation department to effectively and efficiently administer and progress personal insolvency cases while ensuring that all compliance aspects are dealt with appropriately and within a timely manner
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages a portfolio of mainly personal insolvency cases using appropriate forms and prepares and maintains files both manually and on the shared network
Uses insolvency software for diary and record book entries and maintains a clear and up to date receipts and payments account
Complies with statutory procedures throughout the case and also ensures case files are accurate and up to date and that cases are progressed quickly and efficiently
Maintains an up to date record of creditors' details and their claims
Skills:
Understands the goals of the team/office and shows a clear interest in the firm and the profession
Conducts basis research and can organise information in understandable and logical manne.
Makes recommendations to assignment leaders with proper consideration of pros, cons and consequences
Projects an appropriate professional image and explains basic concepts clearly, logically and consistently
Develops good, constructive working relationships with all staff and shows commitment to team
Produces accurate and timely work

Location: Bristol
Salary Indicator: £35,000 - £50,000
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a leading firm as a Manager. The Role will require you to take responsibility for proactively managing a portfolio of bankruptcies and compulsory liquidation while also taking responsibility for compliance, budgets and billing. They will manage and develop staff and be proficient in the key tasks of the Executive job description.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and work within budgets where appropriate so that agreed recovery targets can be achieved
Ensure bills are raised and collected in accordance with billing plan on all cases
Complete WIP schedules promptly and ensure billing targets are managed and met
Ensure own and other individuals' timesheets are submitted on time.
Understand and apply best practice regarding departmental procedures, risk management and compliance
Understand all insolvency procedures and has detailed knowledge of personal insolvency
Manage the protection and realisation of assets including liaising with solicitors, agents etc
Understand all aspects of cases including pensions, tax, employment, environmental issues and all types of creditors claims
Manage sale of business including preparation of business information memorandum, control of negotiations and offer process, instructing and liaising with lawyers
Understand the workings and outcomes of enforcing security and guarantees
Skills:
CPI
JIEB qualified
ACCA/ACA qualified
Word/Excel/Powepoint at intermediate level or above
Strong Excel and analytical skills
Experience in all aspects of bankruptcy and compulsory liquidators as well as supervising staff
