This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious firm of Chartered Accountants in Suffolk, our client are looking for a Business Services Senior to come on board and supervise within the Suffolk Business Services team
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing financial statements for limited companies, limited liability partnerships, partnerships, sole traders and trust/estates from client records
Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and relevant accounting standards
Preparing management accounts together with supporting information
To prepare tax computations and returns to an elementary stage
Plan and undertake special projects (e.g. due diligence, business planning to scope and budget in support of business development as delegated by the business services manager
To practice the principles of excellent client services at all times
Assist in staff management as required
Skills
ACA/ACCA qualified
AAT qualified
Good practice of working in an Accounting Services Department, preferably at supervisory level
Excellent IT Skills would be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities
This role will predominantly involve undertaking client audit, accounts and tax work for a wide range of clients

Lead personal and professional development issues (with partners) for department personnel
Assist in recruitment, training and coaching of staff
Manage WIP and monthly billing levels
Plan and review key department assignments (or assist/direct where required)
Assisting in marketing the firm and helping to acquire new clients at every opportunity
Skills
ACA /ACCA /CA Qualified with at least 3 years PQE
A strong background in Business / Audit Services with business development skills
