Description: Interim Payroll Manager
Contract: 1 Year
Location: Bristol
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the principal objective of this role is to manage the outsourced payroll and benefits service on behalf of the company. In addition, this individual has primary responsibility for managing the integrity of HR data across the company. Although the role will be based in Bristol, the role holder will be a key member of the national HR team and therefore occasional travel to other offices in the company network may sometimes be required
Duties and Responsibilities:
Dealing with all aspects of payroll and will also involve liaising closely with an outsourced payroll bureau and checking their performance against set KPI's
Overall responsibility for checking and authorising the monthly pre-payroll
Support the annual salary review process, including conducting modelling of salaries, ensuring that revised salary data is entered correctly and generating salary and bonus letters for internal distribution
Skills:
Experience of operating at Payroll Manager Level and will possess an excellent knowledge of policies and processes relating to pay
You will also have excellent organisational, communicational and teamwork skills, as well a keen eye for detail

Description: Part Time Payroll Clerk
Location: Calne
Salary: Dependant on Experience
Hours: Maternity Cover, 16 - 20 hours per week
This is a good opportunity to join a well established consultancy in Calne and assist with the Payroll for their clients. This opportunity may offer and permanent role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work initially Monday to Friday for 16 - 20 hours per week
Processing our more complex client payrolls
Preparing forms P11D
Reviewing other team member's work
Liaising with existing payroll team and payroll manager
Drafting letters and e-mails to clients
Dealing with telephone queries from both clients and staff
Training new members of staff
Developing the payroll function within the Bristol office
Assisting other departments with ad hoc PAYE matters
Skill:
Extensive experience in running monthly and weekly payroll
To include a full understanding of tax and national insurance calculations and statutory payments/deductions
Experience in preparing P11D's
Microsoft Word and Excel experience
Previous experience of drafting correspondence to clients
Experience of using payroll software

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for a section of the payroll with the purpose of paying employees in an accurate and timely manner
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure payroll transactions are completed in accordance with strict deadlines
Update and produce management information as and when required
Maintain and update front end payroll system
Ensure employees salaries, plus any additional or manual payments are paid in accordance with Employee Service Centre payroll guidelines
Process statutory payments and deductions in accordance with HM
Revenue and Customs guidelines
Review reconciliation and audit reports and make corrections where necessary
Monitor and recover Payroll overpayments
Skills:
Ability to organise own time efficiently and multi-task
