    Our client is a well established niche brokerage offering an excellent opportunity for a Sales Director with a real passion for success. In control of the day to day running of the company, you will have the motivation and management expertise to help grow this business whilst developing and achieving strategic business plans.

    Responsibilities

    Managing the day to day operations whilst implementing the Boards policies and strategies
    Present to the Board strategic, annual business plans for their approval
    Successfully achieve agreed income targets
    With a proven track record, you will identify and source new and relevant market opportunities and business leads
    Financial control of the day to day running of the company
    Overall control of the inbound and outbound sales functions
    Develop the company whilst achieving stated objections and plans, income and targets
    Responsible for managing, motivating and developing the management team
    Lead from the front in terms of company strategy, culture and vision
    Implement a risk management plan whilst ensuring a succession plan is in place
    Oversee resources efficiently and effectively
    Accountability for the performance of all direct reports ensuring that delivery of income/targets are achieved within the required periods
    Liaison with organisations and Clients including the involvement and implementation in design of new projects, products and distribution as applicable
    Ensure all internal audits are processed with procedures in place
    Ensure the business is run compliantly and in line for all governing bodies
    Briefing Directors, Managers and Staff when required whilst chairing management meetings as appropriate
    Determining the Company Policies with regard to Quality, Health & Safety and the Environment whilst communicating this clearly and effectively to management and staff
    Implement, review, maintain and review management systems

    Skills and Qualifications

    Marketing and Sales background with a proven track record
    Excellent understanding and experience within the Life Insurance market
    Management experience essential
    Confident, articulate character with a tenacity to succeed
