Description: DipPFS Senior Financial Paraplanner
Location: Bristol
Salary Indicator: £25,000 - £28,000
This is an excellent chance to join a leading company and work as part of a team, effectively providing assistance to fee earners and Assistant Managers that meets or exceeds client expectations and supports the partner/manager team
Duties and Responsibilities:
Researches product details and technical issues to provide appropriate recommendations to fee earners and/or Assistant Managers
Prepares reports and letters providing advice in accordance with the Firm's standards and compliance guidelines
Maintains client information accurately on financial planning software and maintains client and firm's files in a well presented, accurate and compliant manner
Is familiar with the Firm's best advice panels and the procedure for off-panel recommendations
Attends training courses as identified in order to develop both technical and personal skills and keeps records for CPD purposes
Skills:
FPC or Certificate in Financial Planning
Full AFPC or Diploma in Financial Planning
Certified Financial Planner Licence
Financial Planning with study support towards AFPC or Diploma in Financial Planning
Have previous data research and report writing experience covering both investments and pensions.
Makes recommendations to assignment leaders with proper consideration of pros, cons and consequences and knows when to ask fro support and advice from other colleagues
Has a positive impact with colleagues and clients, speaks clearly and confidently within team and where appropriate, with clients

Our client is seeking a proactive, self motivated experienced and qualified Para Planner, to support one of the senior management team leading a professional, highly qualified team of IFA's.
Key responsibilities include the preparation of detailed reports and the servicing of prospective, new clients on all aspects of financial planning.
Key duties include:
Manage and prioritise your Consultant's client work
Carryout technical research to meet the clients needs
Produce compliant suitability reports
Provide technical support to dedicated Consultant
Process client queries
Manage client reviews and maturities
Maintain Consultant's WIP record
Performing any other tasks required as delegated by the Consultant
Qualifications & skills:
Dip PFS or working towards
Worked in a similar role or environment for at least 3 years
Understanding and working knowledge of, Personal taxation & tax fundamentals
Taxation of investments, Investments products
Protection products, Retirement products
Trust & Wills, Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
