Description: Senior Pensions Administrator
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary Indicator: £23,000 - £26,000
This is an excellent chance to work alongside a Partner in a successful and established Chartered Financial Planners. The candidate will be an experienced Financial Services Administrator with a strong pensions background, able to produce reports and undertake pensions analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Offering pensions advice to support the Partner
In support of the department, making sure work is achieved to the correct timescales
Processing client authority letters and obtaining detailed policy information
Updating and maintain client personal and policy information
Be proactive in developing new ideas and advice
Dealing with client and product provider queries
Where appropriate helping others to develop their skillset
Desire tio achieve continuing Professional Development
Skills:
CF 1-5 or equivalent
Advanced Pensions qualification such as G60 or J05 / J04
Knowledge of SIPPs, SSASs, GPPs
Experience of working in an administration environment for at least 3 years
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to clearly communicate with clients face to face and on the telephone

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Pensions Administrator to join an International Global Materials Company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Working alongside the Company Solicitor to implement any new scheme changes regarding the new Equalisation legislation and to arrange all deeds of amendment to the Scheme Rules and deeds of appointment of Trustees
Correspond with all pensioner members, active and deferred to confirm annual pension increase and run the process of nominating MNTs
Liaise with Scheme Administrators to action changes in legislation which allows members with small funds to commute for cash
Liaise with Scheme Administrators to agree a timetable and costs for data cleaning (e.g mortality screening, address finder)
Be the first point of contact for complaints from members
Circulate weekly and quarterly investment valuations of the DB investments to all Trustees
Work alongside Company Actuaries and solicitors to keep up with pension legislation
Issue Annual Funding Statement to all members
Arrange disinvestment from DB investments to cover pensioners monthly payments, when instructed by Financial Controller
General administrative tasks as asked by the trustees
Arrange for Scheme Administrators to complete Regulators annual return
Skills:
Sound knowledge of pensions and benefits practices, procedures and legislative framework.
Experience in the management of. flexible benefits provision
Strong IT skills.
Strong business awareness
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Pension Qualification
3+ years in a Pensions role
Experience of outsourcing an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to the Operations Director you will provide technical and administrative support to the company's clients and professional contacts
To process and identify New Business opportunities
To provide a quality, time driven and proactive administration on a portfolio of pension arrangements and attend client meetings as required by the Manager. Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times.
Skills and Qualifications:
Deal with all aspects of pension's administration for a portfolio of self invested schemes.
Ensure the Company Service targets are met.
Producing retirement quotations and projections, also producing and checking various calculations including retirement and leaver benefits, fund valuations, maximum borrowings, loans and contributions.
Identify ways in which improvements can be made to the service we offer our clients.
Providing documentation to establish new SSAS's and SIPP's and identifying new business potential.
Process the establishment of new scheme records and database, including setting up bank accounts, property purchases, scheme borrowings and ensuring money laundering requirements are met.
Deal with initial enquiries and provide technical assistance to clients, professional contacts and sales team.
Provide the manager with weekly reports of ongoing work.
Work within the team to provide a quality, time driven and proactive administration service.
Professionally represent the company when dealing with our Business Partners and other third party administrators.
Be aware of the Companies Marketing Strategy and key Business Partners.
Keep abreast of all technical matters as they relate to the Pensions Industry.
Fulfil any other responsibilities as required by and agreed with the Manager
