Description: Adviser Support
Salary: £18,000 - £22,000
Location: Milton Keynes
The role is suitable for an experienced Adviser Support Administrator with significant experience in the Financial Services industry while preferably holding or studying for appropriate qualifications for example CF1-3; FA1-3 or equivalent.
You will provide pre and post sales support to the Financial Advisers whilst ensuring that all new business documentation is accurate and processed and completed accurately within required time scales as defined by the firm
Responsibilities:
Obtain information and quotations required by Financial Advisers to enable them to research the Clients needs prior to recommendations, as and when required
Process new business from submission to completion
Inputting and maintaining information on the firms IT systems including the 1st software and data base
Dealing with client queries (non-advice issues)
Liaising with Financial Advisers and colleagues working with them closely to understand clients, work loads etcetera
Preparing valuations and reports
Preparing renewal information
Attend training courses as required by the Company
To deal with any incoming telephone calls relating to above duties
Take messages for other Team members
Keep Financial Advisers up to date with relevant information relating to above duties and client issues
Skills:
Experience of Microsoft Word & Excel
Good Administration skills
Experience of working within a team
Working knowledge of Financial Services terminology and products
Must be able to prioritize work to ensure jobs are carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible
Must have good communication skills internally with colleagues and superiors and externally with clients, insurance companies etcetera
Will need to keep abreast of changes within the firms processes in line with industry changes, this includes a willingness to accept ongoing training and development including maintaining competence
