Description: Key Account Manager
Position: Field Based
Salary: £55,000 - 70,000
We are seeking an Account Manager based in the North West (Manchester Area) with experience of developing relationships with Key Insurance Brokers for a leading Insurance company.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the relationship with nominated key accounts
Responsible for the delivery of agreed product targets within key accounts
Principal contact across the board
Liaise with underwriters to highlight areas that could affect account profitability
Ensure the smooth running and quality of output within the agency team
Identify and introduce measures to increase retention of business on a profitable basis
Identify and secure incremental business in line with the agreed growth plans across the personal lines and self-employed product range
Assume ownership of each account and develop individual contact strategies in line with each account that ensure consistency from all areas of the business
Skills:
High level of motor underwriting knowledge including the ability to interpret MI, loss ratio performance and identify trends
Strong knowledge of motor, household, travel and self-employed Insurance
Working knowledge of current commercial offerings
Ability to negotiate at all levels, both internally and externally
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Experience of P&L Account and Loss Ratio interpretation
Computer literate on word based packages
Strong presentation skills

Salary: £17,000 - £23,000 + Bonus and Benefits

Your role will be to authorise estimates for labour received from repairers using recognised engineering principles to reduce repair costs on behalf of customers.

Responsibilities
To handle repair quality and poor service related issues complaints
Authorise estimates from repairers using recognised engineering principals to reduce costs
Authorise estimates within agreed authority levels
Answer all calls in line with company expectations and procedures
Approving repair invoices for PLG vehicles, commercial vehicles, HGVs, specialist vehicles
Dealing with storage costs, recoveries, total loss vehicles - salvage categories and procedures
Skills
Previous experience within the Body Repair Industry
Have up to date knowledge with the modern approach to the repair of accident-damaged motor vehicle
City of Guilds qualification or HNC is desirable
Understanding areas of damage and vehicle types
Able to challenge estimate costs with repairers based on sound engineering principles
