  Responsibilities

  
  To be the first point of contact for all ULR and personal injury claims leads and convert the leads and allocate them to the in house practice
  Explaining to client in clear terms what services we can offer and what immediate and long term steps will follow
  Sales mentality
  Targeting potential personal injury cases from specific facts, and selling the benefits of using my client as their representative
  Target driven, Team focus
  Teamwork will be an important factor as the team will liaise with various departments across the business
  Excellent oral and written skills
  Ability to respond to queries by letter essential as is the ability to offer clear and concise advice on the spot

  
  Skills:

  
  GCSE English or equivalent
  A Levels or evidence of further study
  Some legal qualification desirable but not essential
  A-Level law, law degree and/or further study beneficial
  Basic understanding of the claims process and/or the industry as a whole
  Previous roles in the insurance industry and/or commercial/legal environment
  Sales background or call centre experience would also be welcome

  Location: Bradford
  Salary: £24.000 - £28,000

  Fantastic opportunity has arisen, for an experienced personal injury claims handler to join this reputable firm in Bradford, the company are looking for claims handlers with 3 years EL/PL pre litigated claims experience. and ideally come from a defendant background (although claimant experience will be considered).

  Responsibilities:

  Will be defending EL/PL personal injury claims pre litigated
  Working as part of a team you will be responsible for individual files from inception to completion

  Skills:

  Experience of EL/PL claims handling in a defendant OR claimant role, gained from either an insurance or legal background. Experience of defending retail claims is desirable.
  You must have an excellent telephone manner and be able to work as part of a team.
