Responsibilities:
Preparation of Bills of Costs
Preparation of Points of Dispute and replies
Attending assessment hearings
Mediating settlements
Preparing Conditional Fee Agreements
Liasing with Key Stakeholders, including clients, Insurers and internal points of reference
Skills:
Experience of preparing bills of costs, points of dispute, replies on both contentious and non-contentious cases
Working knowledge of CPR
Proven negotiation skills
Experience of attending court
The ability to work as part of a team
Good IT and communication skills
A member of the Association of Law Cost Draftsmen would be preferable
