Application Developer
Location: Bristol
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Our client is looking to take on an Application developer in their Bristol office. Our client makes full use of technology with the support of our fully integrated IT team. By use of their in-house case management system we are able to design bespoke workflows tailored to their clients' products and needs

The successful candidate will have industry experience in developing VB.NET including ASP.NET applications complemented with strong SQL skills in an MSSQL environment

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills and an organised and positive approach to work with the ability to work well under pressure within a team and individually

The role will involve producing management information, developing and maintaining in-house applications and working within our file management system

Responsibilities:

Preparation of Bills of Costs
Preparation of Points of Dispute and replies
Attending assessment hearings
Mediating settlements
Preparing Conditional Fee Agreements
Liasing with Key Stakeholders, including clients, Insurers and internal points of reference

Skills:

Experience of preparing bills of costs, points of dispute, replies on both contentious and non-contentious cases
Working knowledge of CPR
Proven negotiation skills
Experience of attending court
The ability to work as part of a team
Good IT and communication skills
A member of the Association of Law Cost Draftsmen would be preferable

Law Cost Draftsperson - Bristol - £25-30,000 - RD-2768
