Intelligence Fraud Analysts - Milton Keynes - Legal

A top legal firm is expanding its counter fraud team within their regional office by looking to add 2 Analysts.
Reporting to the Senior Analyst you will have a proven ability to research, analyse and report on data of a highly sensitive nature. Having a keen analytical mind and a background as an analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical support for file handlers as well as the production and dissemination of intelligence reports to external clients, within the framework of the National Intelligence Model. You will have excellent communication skills and previous experience of i2 Analyst's Notebook.

The ability to work under pressure as part of a busy team is essential, as are excellent IT skills.

Personal Injury Cost Draftsperson
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £20,000 - £30,000

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cost Draftsperson to join a leading organisation.
To profitably assist with the drafting of a caseload of personal injury and/or civil cost claims.
To ensure that all work carried out within the cost team is of the highest standard and build/maintain working relationships with clients and colleagues

Duties of the role

Drafting and management of a caseload of files, the nature and volume of the files will depend on the level of seniority, complexity and value.
Ensure the work flow and processes are strictly adhered to.
Provide technical advice and supervision to junior members of the team.
Acting as mentor to junior members of the team.
Report any cases that fall outside of the draftsman's individual authority to the Director.
Work within company standard service levels and/or those applicable to particular accounts.
Manage files to make sure that all time spent is accurately recorded.
Ensure the case management system is used properly and effectively in accordance with agreed procedures.
Any complaints, mistakes or errors are to be reported immediately to the Director.
Monitor and manage own compliance with targets in respect of income and drafting.

Our client is seeking a Legal Costs Negotiator to join their Insurance Department's Costs Team, working on behalf of major insurers, dealing with pre-litigation and post litigation claims for costs.

Experience of costs claims is essential. The successful applicant will have solid experience gained from working either within an in-house environment or in the costs team of a Legal firm, with a particular expertise in relation to personal injury matters.

It is also considered important that candidates have the willingness and ability to provide advice and assistance to the department's Insurer clients on issues outlined by statue, case law and protocols. The candidate must be able to demonstrate relevant experience, good technical and drafting skills, a sound knowledge of the CPR and all relevant case law.

In a busy and demanding environment you will be expected to work in a clear and concise manner, exhibiting excellent negotiation skills and the ability to draft correspondence, legal argument, Points of Dispute and instructions to Counsel. You may also attend/assist with Detailed Assessment Hearings.
