Location: Bristol
Salary: up to £22,000 + Benefits

A fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler to join one of the top brokerages within Bristol. As a Commercial Account Handler for this organisation your role will be to provide technical and administrative support to account directors / executives.

You will be responsible for assisting in the development of a profitable and growing SME account.

The ideal candidate will come from a Commercial Insurance Underwriting / Account Handling or Technician background

Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Account Handler you will be managing and building relationships with clients
Provide new business quotations for all classes of General Insurance on request
Where customer requests are beyond your range of experience or authority
Providing bespoke insurances for designated clients
Assist in the promotion of positive sales development of designated clients including cross-selling activities
Provide information and prepare risk presentations to designated clients

Skills:

Knowledge of the principles, practices and legalities of all major classes of General Insurance
The UK General Insurance market in respect of both Personal and Commercial insurances
Underwriting and rating factors, and how these are applied in relation to all major classes of Commercial insurance
Up to date with FSA Regulations applicable to Commercial and Retail Customers

Commercial Account Handler
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: £17,000 - £23,000

A Commercial Account Handler is required due to the success and organic growth of this Company. The purpose of the position will be to deliver a professional and effective service to this Company's clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To efficiently handle Commercial Business Insurance for a portfolio of Clients
To deliver exceptional customer service
The management of customer accounts
To maintain high standards of administration and servicing of clients

Skills:

Previous Commercial Account Handling experience would be beneficial
Good sales and negotiation skills
Computer literate
Knowledge of computerised broking systems desirable
Qualified or studying towards the Insurance Examinations

Commercial Account Handler
Location: Swindon
Salary: £16,000 - £20,000 D.O.E

Looking for an opportunity to join an independent Broker with traditional values? Then this is a great opportunity for a commercial account handler to join a reputable organisation. The purpose of this role is to provide general support to the Account Executives for management and retention of Premier Clients, whilst increasing your own product knowledge and ability. This is a servicing role rather than a sales role.

Responsibilities:

Assist existing Commercial Brokers workload
Handle day to day correspondence
Monitor and manage renewal of Commercial business
Collate and prepare underwriting information and market presentations/ensure subsequent accuracy of documentation
Deal effectively with Client requests including changes in cover and risks
Produce and maintain in good order a Register of Insurances for own client allocation
Follow compliance and internal procedures
Take a pro-active approach in identifying Client needs and objectives
Maintain and develop an up to date technical knowledge appropriate to Client base
Assist in preparation of Renewal Reports as required
Prepare reports on specific projects and present to client where required
Participate in new business initiatives as appropriate in a client advisory capacity
Attend client and insurer review meetings, presentations and surveys as required

Skills:

Good communication skills in both verbal and written
IT literate with a good working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel & Outlook
Experience in Commercial Insurance
Previous Broking experience
2 years Commercial Account Handling experience would be beneficial
Ideally already working towards ACII
