    Responsibilities

    Maintain an interest in public law
    Working own files under supervision, also working on files with senior members of the team

    Dealing with funding issues, including Public Funding Applications, monitoring of fees, liaising with before-the-event insurers and entering into CFAs with clients and Counsel
    Instructing medical experts and Counsel
    Assisting more senior fee-earners with complex, high value claims
    Preparation for Inquests, including instructing experts and Counsel and attending Inquests where relevant
    Taking initial telephone and website enquiries
    Contacting clients and taking initial information
    Liaising with senior fee-earners and undertaking initial investigations from new enquiries
    Assisting senior solicitors on catastrophic injury cases and/or multi-client cases
    Business development including updating website information, case reports and articles

    Skills
