    Responsibilities:


    Underwrite new and existing business in accordance with personal underwriting authority, regulatory requirements and company underwriting philosophy, negotiating terms with the insurance broker in order to meet the required departmental business objectives
    Complete quote and policy work within the Company's key performance indicators and to the agreed productivity work levels published for the role
    In liaison with the Business Account Executives, other team members and other teams ensure identification and development of supporting and non-supporting brokers in order to meet required departmental business objectives
    Consider and act on the underwriting implications of claims to minimise the potential for repetition of loss
    Handle technical referrals from less experienced colleagues
