Salary: £17,000 - £25,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Our client is one of the largest and most trusted Accident Management provider in the insurance industry. They are currently seeking In House Motor Engineers to join their highly successful team. Your role will be to authorise estimates for labour received from repairers using recognised engineering principles to reduce repair costs on behalf of customers.

Responsibilities
To handle repair quality and poor service related issues complaints
Authorise estimates from repairers using recognised engineering principals to reduce costs
Authorise estimates within agreed authority levels
Approving repair invoices for PLG vehicles, commercial vehicles, HGVs, specialist vehicles
Dealing with storage costs, recoveries, total loss vehicles - salvage categories and procedures

Skills
Previous experience within the Body Repair Industry
Have up to date knowledge with the modern approach to the repair of accident-damaged motor vehicle
Have a detailed knowledge or experience using Estimating Platforms such as Glassmatix or Audatex
Able to challenge estimate costs with repairers based on sound engineering principles
Membership of the I.A.E.A or studying to wards this qualification would be beneficial

Salary: £14,500 - £15,500
Location: Gloucestershire

A leading international Insurance Organisation are seeking a Total Loss Negotiator within their Specialist Motor Insurance Claims Team. Reporting directly to the Total Loss Team Leader, you will be responsible for handling an allocated portfolio of Total Loss Claims, and providing customers with a quality service in line with the Claims Guiding Principles.

Responsibilities

To ensure that claims are handled in the correct technical manner, in accordance with policy cover, legal liability, departmental regulations, fraud, ABI and FSA Guidelines
Provide effective internal and external communications in order to achieve a quality customer service
Settle allocated claims and repudiate where no legal liability is present
Manage a personal caseload of files and make decisions on all aspects of the Claim within authority levels

Skills

Manage claims under a delegated authority from the Insurer client
