This leading Accountancy Practice is seeking a Senior Mixed Tax Manager to join their North London office and provide guidance and a business development function in order to drive forward the organisations Tax services.
Responsibilities:
Assist tax Principal in delivering company's tax strategy
Spot opportunities with new and existing clients
Promote delivery of tax advisory services within the tax department
Assist in promoting the growth and development of the department
Manage the portfolio of clients maximising fee earning opportunities
Manage the production of Corporate and Personal Tax computations
Plan, control and review work carried out by team members to ensure work is completed within timeframes and budget
Respond to tax queries from Principals
Billing on own or tax Principals portfolio
Act as key liaison between Principals, tax department and audit department
Attend client meetings
Involvement in setting resource levels, recruitment, training and performance management
Ensure tax review procedures are in place and complied with
Constantly review and amend departmental procedures
Complete appraisals for all allocated members of staff ensuring that these are completed May and November to enable staff to be developed and in turn enhance their effectiveness

Experience including both corporate and personal tax, such as IHT, CGT, Trusts, remuneration planning, investigations
