Our Client, an International Financial Services Counsultancy is looking for experienced Tax & Compliance specialists to join their Bristol office

This is a Perfect opportunity for an experienced Practice or Industry Tax Accountant to gain experience in an established Counsultancy environment

Responsibilities:

Regarding payroll compliance, stock option taxation, Expat taxation and trading activity
Liaising with taxation specialists and accountants worldwide as required on payroll compliance, stock option taxation
Ensuring taxation rules and deadlines for all forms of employers and corporate taxation are complied with in each country
Drafting and agreeing inter-company trade agreements typically between the US parent company and their worldwide entities
Advising on cross-border VAT/Sales Tax on movement and sales of goods and services and identifying planning opportunities
Dealing with issues on the reporting and taxation of stock options in the various countries and identifying planning
Advising clients on the various registrations of legal entities worldwide, including analysis of Permanent Establishment risks
Reviewing and advising of the various worldwide compliance accounts

Skills:

CTA is desirable, however for the right candidate; they would be willing to support you financially to achieve this qualification
Also prepared to offer a suitable relocation package for a candidate with excellent English language written skills
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified

Responsibilities:

Portfolio to consist of complex mix of clients with multiple sources of earned and unearned income

Skills:

Tax Senior
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

This opportunity is perfect for an established Tax Senior who is looking to further their career and become a part of one of the leading Accountancy Practices in the country. The key function of the role is to effectively and comprehensively deal with client demands while developing the Tax department and its services as a whole

Responsibilities:

Prepare and generate tax returns using tax software
Prepare letter to client, detailing liabilities and any tax saving opportunities
Liaise with Revenue on client's behalf
Inform client of tax liabilities; agree these to Revenue statement on account
Prepare Inland Revenue forms as appropriate (e.g. P35, P11D etc) and ensure all deadlines are met
Prepare client bill (where appropriate)
Answer queries from more junior staff on work delegated
Identify tax planning opportunities as appropriate
Assist on consultancy projects (where required)
Carry out research projects (where appropriate)
Communicate with ?clients regarding information required, liabilities or deadlines to be met and tax opportunities

Skills:

ATT, studying for ATII or equivalent (preferable)

Salary: £27,000 - £35,000

You will be required to manage, coach and lead the Customer Service Claims Department ensuring the delivery of all service level agreements to maintain customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Ensure the delivery of Service Level Agreements in the claims department
Ensuring that the Department handles all claims in a cost effective manner in accordance with Group Guidelines, Procedures and Claims Philosophy
Work with Regional Service Manager and Executives to deliver consistent service standards both Regionally and Nationally
Ensure sufficient skilled resource exists within the department through staff development, succession planning and recruitment
Ensuring Compliance with the responsibilities and obligations imposed by the FSA and overseeing complaints
Develop and maintain working relationships with the Agency network, Operations team and third party providers, as appropriate

Your role within the company will to be to develop profitable commercial business through technical assessment of individual risk and schemes.

Your Key responsibility is for the daily delivery of the underwriting team performance and effectiveness

Responsibilities:

Working within a team of 9 Underwriters with up to 4 direct reports including appraisals
Negotiating terms with the insurance broker in order to meet the required departmental business objectives
Work within the Company's key performance indicators and to the agreed productivity work levels published
Day-to-day management of an Underwriting team for effective delivery of results to meet the departmental business objectives and KPI

Skills:

Demonstrate excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills
Detailed underwriting experience in property, pecuniary and liability classes of insurance equally, and for all relevant classes across a variety of products and trades would be beneficial
The ability to assess technical risk and make decisions within their authority on all aspects of the products they handle
People management skills and experience with the ability to appraise people, and deal with absence management
Coaching skills and dispute resolution skills

Claims Advisor
Salary: £15,000 - £17,000

Your role will be to deal with technical building queries from Clients, Suppliers and in house staff, whilst providing an unrivalled standard of customer service.

Responsibilities

Negotiating building related claims with policy holders
Check estimate costs submitted by panel of suppliers
Accurately analyse and enter any technical data
