Responsibilities:
Support underwriters in the development of DUA business, including both the operational and financial review of individual authorities, whether new or renewal
Operate a stringent "due diligence" process for new and renewing coverholders to ascertain professional and financial credentials
Ensure that all Binding Authority Agreements, rating plans and underwriting authorities are completed and signed off,
Monitor coverholder bordereau and premium payment discipline
Operate a structured and consistent approach to underwriting audits and reviews in conjunction with underwriters
Apply a high standard of service, support and control to DUAs in order to maximise profitability, and take remedial action where necessary
Prepare accurate, detailed and timely reports on DUA issues, including statistical analysis, to monitor and review performance competently
Support credit control and accounting functions through ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all transactions and premium errors
Be aware of the annual business plan insofar as it relates to the DUA portfolio, and be able to contribute appropriately to decision-making
Attend all relevant team meetings and liaise with underwriters and other internal departments to ensure that the DUA department operates collaboratively
