Audit Manager
Location: Bristol
Salary: £38,000 - £60,000

This is a good opportunity to join a leading Corporate Enterprise Group, who are looking for a qualified chartered accountant with experience as an audit manager managing a portfolio of clients, Clients will include companies listed on the AIM market as well as a number of large unlisted companies

Duties and Responsibilities:

Management of the audit for a portfolio of clients, responsibility for billing and fee recovery and also being the main point of contact with the client throughout the year
Excellent technical skills covering both UK GAAP and IFRS and experience of advising clients to board level on the impact of these standards on their businesses and in their accounts
Excellent report writing skills and a strong ability to present reports in a formal setting to boards of directors and audit committees
Experience of business development including preparation of proposal documentation and making formal presentations
A member of the audit manager group assisting with effective management of the audit department and audit staff
The management of a team of approximately 30 audit staff

Audit & Business Services Manager
Location: London
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000

This is an excellent opportunity to provide clients with an efficient and effective service through the control and efficient use of the department resources and liaison with other departments to ensure close liaison with on client affairs and assisting in administration tasks to ensure a smooth running of the department

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure that clients receive an efficient and proactive service and client expectations are exceeded throughout the year
Liaison with client Directors and other staff where appropriate to ensure all are kept up to date with relevant issues
Awareness of commercial aspects of clients, business and impact on their work
Arrangement of timetable, booking of staff, planning review and completion of audit and other related assignments
Monitoring of qualified and student bookings and workloads to ensure most efficient use of resources Liaison with junior staff to assess any issues that need dealing with

Audit Assistant Manager

This established Accountancy Practice is currently looking for an Audit Assistant Manager with particular knowledge of Pro-audit and SAPA to work within their Business Assurance department. The role will involve the planning and performing audit work on a range of clients, supervising more junior staff, reviewing the work of others and reporting to the Partners.

Responsibilities:

Carry out audit work on a range of clients (including some charities) in accordance with internal procedures and programs
Oversee the work of other staff and provide training and support to more junior members
Become the department's expert and advisor for Pro-audit and SAPA
Become familiar with and work towards meeting the goals for the Corporate and Commercial Department and the Firm's Client Charter
Prepare for and contribute effectively to personal Development Meetings for self and others
Attend client meetings, build and develop good working relationships with clients and colleagues to develop further business over time
Identify opportunities to increase the client base and develop cross departmental working opportunities

Skills:

ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent with audit related expertise

Technical and Training Manager

Our Client is seeking a Technical and Training Manager to join their London office.
The position is ideally suited to someone in a similar or overlapping role or to an Auditor with high professional standards and strong technical skills looking for a change

Responsibilities:

Give credible and robust advice to partners on financial reporting and audit and assurance issues
Write clear and concise bulletins, guidance notes and training materials.
Present effectively on short (technical update) and long (practical auditing) courses
Be responsive to the planned and unplanned needs of the rest of the firm
Form good working relationships with partners, managers, seniors and trainees alike.
Maintenance and upgrade of (potentially new) audit methodology
Researching and writing technical bulletins
Responding to ad hoc technical enquiries
Managing and carrying out all aspects of firm's audit quality control procedures:

Prepare and publish the annual training programme for all staff
