We are looking to recruit an experienced solicitor for our clients Property, Insurance and Construction Group (PICG) where they are handling some of the most complex and demanding policy coverage and suspected "first party" fraud claims for the UK's leading property and commercial insurers.
Rapid growth in this are of work means that we have a new exciting vacancy for a solicitor with 4 to 5 years of experience of insurance coverage disputes.
Applicants will need to show a proven track record of handling coverage disputes on behalf of insurers and be familiar with the range of disputes arising under the full range of commercial insurance policies - commercial property, combined commercial, products and public liability, construction related (CAR and Latent Defects) etc. Ability to undertake some more general insurance litigation will also be necessary as will being able to work with limited supervision.
The successful candidate will be likely to come from an established insurance team at a recognised practice but now looking to develop a higher personal profile. They will conduct their own caseload and also assist the Partner
