    Our client is a well established IFA practice with a respected reputation in the area.
    Reporting directly to the Compliance Manager you role is to provide a technical function that supports the advisors in areas including pensions, mortgages, general insurance, tax and investment management

    Responsibilities

    The processing of the personal information provided by clients during a meeting with their Financial Advisor
    Researching the best solutions that meet each clients financial needs
    Produce letters, reports and supporting evidence for consideration by the Client
    Assist in analytic work, including cash flow forecasting and investment analysis
    Prepare the paperwork in readiness for client meetings
    Assisting the Financial Adviser in establishing new client relationships
    Assessing each clients financial circumstances
    Preparing financial statements to support development of each client financial strategy
    Use of financial planning software tools
    Proposing and drafting solutions that meet each clients goals, needs and objectives
    Support the ongoing client relationship
    Developing productive working relationships with colleagues and clients

    Skills

    Excellent interpersonal, listening and numerical attributes
    Strong analytical and research skills
    Report writing and clear written communication skills
    A professional, ethical and discreet manner
    Client service skills
    Effective time and caseload management
    Confidence using IT and database packages
    Able and willing to work on own initiative, sometimes for long periods
    A flexible approach to business hours would be necessary
    Computer literacy - recognising strengths and weaknesses in achieving a compliant audit trail
    A good knowledge of all financial products including investments, protections, pensions and tax
    Acting ethically, impartially and always in the best interest of the client
    Meeting the FSA's Treating Customers Fairly requirements at all times
    Be fully conversant at all times with the Societies policies and procedures

    Requirements

    At least 2 years experience in a similar role working within a Banking or IFA environment
    Diploma qualified with a desire to continue personal development
    Working hours are 9 to 5 with Saturday shifts on a rota basis
