Location: London
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a large company, who are looking for a professional individual to join them within all of our Corporate and Financial Services Internal Audit and Risk Management department
Duties and Responsibilities:
To assist the partner in business development to build a portfolio of financial services and corporate clients by helping to identify suitable clients to target, preparing presentations and proposals and attending business development meetings
To assist and advise the Partner on the formulation and review of audit plans/strategy for clients
To perform audits in accordance with the firm's internal audit methodology including, assignment planning, conduct and control of audit work and reporting findings, managing staff where necessary
To provide job training and technical guidance for senior auditors, auditors and training for trainee auditors, as part of building our corporate and financial services sector capability
To prepare progress and annual reports for audit committees and attend audit committee meetings as required
To ensure that assignments are completed on time and within budget
To be aware of, and act upon, additional work opportunities at existing new clients and new work at potential clients
To ensure target recoveries are achieved and ensure that the client monitoring system is maintained
Skills:
Ideally qualified CCAB or IIA
It will be essential that the candidate has knowledge of the financial services sector, primarily the insurance sector and its inherent risks
Good oral and written communication skills
Proven team leadership and teamwork skills
Ability to spot business opportunities and act upon accordingly
