  An exciting opportunity has arisen in a leading firm of Chartered Accountants within Reading, our client is currently looking for an Senior Accountant to come on board the Pensions division.
  This is the perfect opportunity for a Newly Qualified or Part Qualified Senior to join the pensions team, the client would be particularly interested in candidates with a background with Financial Services Audit.

  Duties and Responsibilities

  Ensure that the assignment is undertaken in accordance with the pre-assignment instructions, and to carry out the more rigorous aspects of the assignment efficiently, thoroughly and in accordance with the firm's procedures.
  Ensure audit quality at all times
  Assist with internal and external quality assurance, ensuring any actions are completed in line with the firms and professional standards
  Having a great understanding of client needs, have the ability to provide solutions on technical matters and communicate viable solutions with managers
  Act as day-to-day point of contact for the client, and to practice the principles of excellent client service at all times
  Identify and understand client needs, suggest potential solutions on technical matters and communicate and agree client needs and potential solutions with managers.
  Review work completed by trainee staff for adequacy and completeness, and to undertake job appraisal interviews
  

  Skills:

  
  Educated to ACCA/ACA level
  Experience of working within a firm of Chartered Accountants
