    Employment Solicitor / Legal Executive
    Location: Manchester
    Salary: £40,000 - £60,000


    A legal 500 top tier specialist which is a UK leading practice now seeks an Employment Law Solicitor to join a new team within this established practice. You will have significant post qualification experience in Employment Law, servicing insurers, banks and retailers in handling volume legal work and management. The successful candidate will be able to work within a reputable firm and develop their career as a reputable and regarded practitioner.


    Responsibilities


    You will work within a team of Solicitors and Fee Earners providing advice and representing your clients on matters related to contentious and non contentious employment law issues
    You will appreciate the need for swift and decisive action and work closely with your clients to establish your commercial objectives and the best way of achieving them quickly, cost-effectively and with minimum possible risk and disruption to your business
    You will act as a sounding board to your Clients who seek HR advise and integral support to their companies and offer support and guidance on how to implement the best strategy while managing both risk and management expectations


    Skills


    You will be a Qualified Solicitor or an experience Legal Executive who has over the past few years specialised in Employment Law
    It is essential that you have handled both contentious and non-contentious Employment matters and have represented Employees and Claimant on a variety of matters including but not compulsory; discrimination and equal opportunities, bullying and harassment, director termination and severance, restrictive covenants, disciplinary hearings and dismissal, compromise agreements and redundancy
    Experience of supervising junior lawyers, paralegals and small teams would be beneficial as you will enter the team a technical specialist within this sector and it will be expected that you take control and lead the team forward, under the supervision of current Partner
